Kate married WILLIAM JOHN FOREMAN on 14th November 1869 at Boughton. William was born 2nd Qtr 1849 at Boughton. He was Christened 8th July 1849 at Boughton, his parents were Elijah and Mary Ann Jackson. William died 7th April 1922 aged 72 at Faversham.

The 1911 census states, that of 10 children born to Kate, only 5 survived. How come I have 12 children?? '10 children born alive' - maybe 2 were stillborn? States Ada has 5 children and 5 still living.

Born 1st Qtr 1867 at Boughton.
It is unsure whether William is the father or not, but highly probable, quite normal to keep the Mother's name if the child was born out of wedlock. Ada however takes the Foreman surname for the census returns, so Foreman is her chosen alias. Married however as 'Rook'; ironically, to a 'Rook'; her 1st cousin!
Married 05.07.1896 to ROBERT ROOK at Boughton.
Died 1st Qtr 1955, registered at Sittingbourne aged 87 years?

2. ELLEN MARY FOREMAN

Married 26.07.1891 to PERCY WILLIAM KAY registered at Faversham.
Died 17.09.1941 aged 71, registered at Sittingbourne.
